Carlucci's Bakery

Carlucci's Bakery is located downtown in the historic warehouse district of Salt Lake City. Large windows and a cozy patio overlook Pioneer Park while Jazz music plays overhead. Carlucci's is part of the Pioneer Park Marketplace, which includes the Aquarius Fresh Fish Market, Tony Caputo's Market, Tony Caputo's Deli, the Italian Cultural Center and Vespa USA. Carlucci's is within walking distance of the Delta Center and the new Gateway mall.

Therese Roper has studied the art of cooking for the last 10 years. She has worked locally, in Las Vegas and Martha's Vineyard. Before opening Carlucci's Bakery, Therese was the Corporate Pastry Chef at the Tuscany restaurant in Salt Lake City.

Carlucci's Bakery is named after Therese's grandmother Grace, who hails from Sicily, Italy. Grace's family photos don the walls of the bakery.
